About this Training
Understanding and managing emotions is key to children's growth, relationships, and well-being. This course explores emotional regulation and its impact on learning, social interactions, and mental health. Participants will learn practical strategies to assist children in recognizing, expressing, and regulating emotions, fostering resilience and confidence. Topics include visual emotion aids, self-soothing techniques, guided relaxation, movement-based activities, and empathy-building exercises. Educators will also explore ways to support children with emotional or behavioral challenges, creating a nurturing environment that promotes emotional intelligence and long-term success. This course is designed for early childhood educators, administrators, and any professionals working closely with young children who wish to improve their understanding and approach to promoting emotional regulation within their classrooms and programs. Minimum 4 participants required.
